  • We work with speakers we genuinely believe in that will provide a friendly and professional experience.

    If you’d like to be considered, please email us - hello@quaynotespeakers.com - with your bio, contact information, topics, details of your speaking experience and links to recent footage if available.

    If we feel you’re a strong fit, we’ll arrange a call to explore working together.

  • No. Some speakers are exclusive, many are non-exclusive. If we take you on, we’ll agree the arrangement that works best for you.

  • Experience helps, but it’s not essential - everybody has to begin somewhere.

    What matters most is credibility, clarity of message, strong delivery, and a talk that genuinely helps an audience.

  • We place speakers for:

    • keynotes
    • motivational talks
    • after-dinner events
    • awards hosting
    • panel appearances
    • workshops and interactive sessions
    • fireside chats
    • virtual talks

  • Absolutely.

    This is a great way to promote the fact that you are open to speaking bookings - having our details in your social media bio can increase the chance of bookings significantly.

    We handle the whole process, doing the legwork to make it easier for you.

    We can provide wording for your website and social channels.

  • We’ll discuss your experience, demand, talk type, and market expectations. Together, we agree a fee you’re comfortable with that also positions you appropriately.

  • Invoices are typically paid within 14 days of the event, once the talk has taken place. Some clients pay earlier; we’ll always be transparent about timelines.

  • We manage the contract with the organiser, and you’ll sign a simple agreement with us confirming the talk details and any requirements.

  • Travel and accommodation costs are covered by the booking client.

    We will:

    • confirm what’s included
    • agree arrangements with you
    • ensure all travel and accommodation is reasonable and aligned with your preferences

  • If prep time is significant, we’ll discuss this with the client and incorporate this into your fee structure.

  • Most clients appreciate:

    • one briefing call
    • agreeing the theme
    • tailoring to their audience

    We’ll managing expectations for you so nothing is excessive or last-minute.

  • No - only if it's your style.

    Some speakers use slides; others speak without them. If the client requests slides, we’ll let you know at the start.

  • We normally do, but in some cases, the client might. The client pays for travel and accommodation, and we will never add any hidden fees on.

    We’ll always confirm details clearly and early.

  • We’ll check all technical requirements with the organiser early on in the booking process.

    You only need to bring what you usually bring (e.g., clicker, laptop, or USB backup if you use slides).

  • If required, yes. Otherwise, the client will meet you at the agreed-upon venue. We’ll make sure both parties know exactly what to expect.

  • Most events only require a quick sound check, but if rehearsal time is needed, we’ll include it in the agreement and confirm it with you well in advance.

  • Only if agreed (e.g., meet-and-greet, Q&A, VIP reception).

    If you can stay for a little while for photos or conversation, we’ve found that it’s always appreciated, but never assumed.

  • We filter requests and only pass on what’s reasonable. We’re here to protect your time and maintain your boundaries.

  • It can happen to the best planned events. We’ll let you know, and ensure any delays are manageable.

    If a delay would clash with travel plans, we’ll intervene on your behalf.

  • It’s common for event organisers to want to take photographs and film events, but we will ask for your permission in advance.

    We confirm all recording and usage rights with the organiser before the event.

  • Let us know immediately. We’ll inform the organiser, arrange cancellation or replacement, and handle all logistics - you won’t need to negotiate anything yourself.

  • Our contract protects your time.

    Depending on notice period, cancellation fees apply (between 25%–100%). We’ll manage this.

  • Strong imagery and footage really help clients make speaker booking decisions.

    If you don’t have them, we can guide you on what works or recommend photographers/videographers.

  • We feature your profile, topics and videos, and promote relevant events when appropriate.

    It is important to note that are not a talent agent - we work with event organisers to find the perfect speaker for them, rather than proactively promote individual speakers to potential clients.

  • Yes - anytime. Just send updated material and we’ll refresh your profile and future pitches.

  • Yes, frequently. Many organisers now prefer virtual formats for global teams.

  • We recommend:

    • a good external microphone
    • stable lighting
    • neutral or branded background
    • a wired internet connection

    We’ll always check requirements with the organiser ahead of time.

  • As often as needed - but not excessively. We’ll handle enquiries, check availability with you, and keep you posted on opportunities.

  • Of course. Family commitments, availability or simply feeling the event isn’t the right fit - your call always comes first.

  • We do always ask for feedback.

    Where organisers do provide it, we’ll pass it on. If you’d like structured feedback to support development, just let us know.

  • We thoughtfully match based on relevance, tone, experience, audience fit, diversity considerations, availability, fee expectations and your stated preferences.

  • If you would like input - yes.

    We can help refine structure, positioning and topic descriptions, or connect you with a presentation coach if needed.

  • That’s fine. Many speakers do. We keep communication transparent and work professionally with other agencies when schedules overlap.

    We can’t respond to all submissions, but all will be read and considered, and a no, or no reply from us isn’t a no forever, and nor is it a representation of you as an applicant. There are many variables at play when building our roster, and everything we do is with our speakers and booking clients in mind.
